View application deadlines, program prerequisites, and submit your application for Shenandoah’s graduate Public Health programs through the Office of Admissions.
Students interested in enrolling in the dual Doctor of Pharmacy/Master of Public Health must be admitted and successfully complete one term in the PharmD program prior to submitting an application to the MPH program.
Students interested in enrolling in the dual Master of Physician Assistant Studies/Master of Public Health must be admitted and successfully complete one term in the MPAS program prior to submitting an application to the MPH program.
Undergraduate Public Health Admissions
Shenandoah University operates on rolling admissions. This means that applications are accepted throughout the year, without specific application deadlines.
Freshmen applications are reviewed holistically. Shenandoah University invites applicants to supply all evidence to indicate their competence and eagerness to succeed in a demanding and exciting program of study.

PA & MPH Dual Degree
The Physician Assistant Studies & Master Of Public Health Dual Degree Program offers students an opportunity to earn a Master Of Public Health Degree (MPH) in conjunction with training in the Physician Assistant (PA) Studies program.
The purpose of the dual Physician Assistant/Master of Public Health program is to graduate highly qualified health professionals who have obtained competencies necessary to succeed in the rapidly evolving health system. The dual program prepares students to enter a wide range of PA and public health positions that address today’s most challenging population health care issues.
Articulation Agreement: Shenandoah University Master Of Public Health
Shenandoah University Schools of Health Professions and Pharmacy have established articulation agreements with undergraduate College of Arts and Sciences. These articulation agreements are designed to build strong partnerships between the College of Arts and Sciences and the graduate health professions programs. These agreements provide a pathway into the graduate admission process by reserving a set number of seats in their programs for students applying from within Shenandoah.
The Shenandoah University Master Of Public Health Articulation Agreement is designed for applicants who have completed the prerequisites and will be obtaining a baccalaureate from Shenandoah University. This agreement is available to all students enrolled full-time at Shenandoah University for undergraduate study.
PharmD & MPH Dual Degree
The purpose of the Doctor Of Pharmacy/Master Of Public Health Dual Degree program is to graduate highly qualified health professionals who have obtained competencies necessary to succeed in the rapidly changing healthcare system.
The dual program prepares students to enter a wide-range of pharmacy and public health positions that address today’s most challenging population health care issues. A Public Health Pharmacist can be involved in advanced pharmacy practice, health policy development, emergency and humanitarian response, public health leadership, and much more.
